To dive right into this site's details I will start with general policies for other AYSO associates in that area you can learn what we expect of ourselves and what we expect of you. Pictures Online

Background Information: I personally do not take all of the pictures found on this website. Many people send me digital photos. From these photos I check to see if they were taken on public property or on property rented or used by the organization.

AYSO National States the following about pictures of children online: "The use of photographs on the Web site: If the photographs were taken at a game or practice that took place on public property, photographs may be used without consent. However, it is preferred that all pictures used on Web sites have “Talent Release Forms” signed by those pictured." With this understanding I personally check every photo for legality the following is my query list:

  1. Is the photo of a minor
  2. Is their an expectation of privacy?
  3. Is the picture taken on public property?
  4. Is the picture taken on property owned by the school district?
  5. Are their more than five people in the picture?

If all of these questions pass I will use the picture. You can email me to get a photo removed from the website. Generally I request a form of verification , like an email recognized by AYSO.
