Information Center - F.A.Q.s

1. Q. I am a U6 coach volunteer and I have not received my team packet and roster yet.

We do not send U6 packets out as early as U8 through U14. We do not require U6 parents to get together for a team meeting as we do the older divisions. There will always be an orientation the second Wednesday of September for the U6 players and parents, Please call the MC if you haven’t received it by August 20th.

4. Q. I have not heard from a coach telling me where my child was placed. What should I do?

Please leave your child’s name (last name spelled) and birth date as a message for me. I will find out where he or she should be and call you with that information.

Thank-you for your patience and for volunteering. You make AYSO a success.

2. Q. My child doesn’t like his placement. He did not receive his first choice school. Can I get a refund?

We can’t give everyone his or her first choice, and that is why we ask you to list a 2nd choice. Next year when you register your child be sure to mark the part on the registration that says, ”my child did not get his first choice this year”. A full refund will be given until June10th for whatever reason. Refunds are given to families who are moving or their child is injured and cannot play. Once the season starts no refunds are given.

3. Q. I am unable to contact the majority of players on my team. I am trying to get a parent meeting together. The deadline to turn the roster in is approaching. What should I do?

Leave a message for your player at the phone number given and/or mail a postcard explaining when and where you want practices to be. Include your address, phone number and what is happening with the team. Don’t forget to tell them your team name! Please be sure to get a parent volunteer choice. Mail in a copy of the roster as soon as you have heard from most of the player’s parents. They will call you once they are back from summer vacations. You can either call the message center with the volunteer's name and job or e-mail with that information. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
