We are working to adjust to the current public health issues around COVID-19 in Oregon. Our primary objective is to keep everyone - players, volunteers, spectators - healthy and safe. We want to offer a program that gives kids an opportunity to be kids, to play soccer, but to do so in a way that is consistent with regional and national public health directives.

AT THIS TIME, until we have better guidance from state and national health authorities, we are postponing the beginning of practices until further notice. Our hope is that when schools reopen, we can begin our practices, and a modified season will follow. As things continue to develop, we will keep you informed by email. The region calendar (here) will continue to include a proposed set of adjusted dates, for example, as of today, practices could start 4/28 and the first of seven consecutive Saturday game days would start 5/2.

AYSO Adult

AYSO Adult Soccer Corporation - Program Proposal

Eligibility:
Must be born before 2001.

Format:
Pickup / Open Play Soccer. An RSVP system would be used to determine/confirm ideal times and dates. Activity times would be scheduled for each month, with at least one activity per week.

  • Small Numbers (30): one division all players in same pickup group, games could scale from 6v6 to 11v11.
  • Med Numbers (60): two divisions split by levels of play, one monthly game refereed and assigned with a set team for that game. Games could scale from 7v7 to 11v11.
  • Large Numbers (100): Build set teams and schedule activity times / games. Some with referees and some without.

Activity/Game Locations:
The Adams School complex would be the first choice, with other location options for summer, including Philomath Schools. Locations could include Albany and Lebanon depending on the scale and number of adults from those areas.

Signup and Costs:
Registrations would be online in Sports Connect and the cost would be $30 per player. This fee takes care of your registration costs for U.S. Soccer, United States Adult Soccer Organization (U.S.A.S.A.), and your player accident insurance (PAI), which will cover you, in case of an accident, for up to $25,000.

Additional fees could be involved if playing location includes a cost or if program jersey set is desired.

Season:
From April - August, with a plan to schedule one event each week. The registration covers from Sept 1, 20yy - Aug 31, 20yy+1.
